Gold prices extended their rally for the second consecutive session, reaching a new all-time high of Rs 95,935 per 10 grams on Thursday, supported by strong spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), June delivery contracts touched the record peak in morning trade. However, prices later eased slightly, trading at Rs 95,750 per 10 grams, down Rs 89 or 0.09%, with an open interest of 22,403 lots.
